What is a Discovery Center?
Located in every residential community, Discovery Centers are where you can go to ask academic questions. Whether a student calls, instant messages, or walks to a Discovery Center, there will be a trained Discovery Advisor (DA) ready to assist him/her! Assistance offered includes peer tutoring, career exploration, and literature about campus resources. Discovery Advisors in the Centers respond to academic questions regarding course selection and registration and help ensure students remain on track for graduation. The Discovery Center in each residential area serves as a hub where students have access to a wealth of important academic and educational information. Discovery Centers are open Sunday through Thursday, 5 p.m. – 9 p.m. Students can receive assistance at times that are conducive to their hectic schedules.
