Personal Parking Meters

A personal parking meter or In Car Meter is a small device that is used by drivers to pay for on-campus parking fees. It can be used instead of meters or permits. The parking time is charged by the minute giving the customer a fair and easy payment method. The meters require a $20.00 refundable deposit plus how much money you wish to put in the meter account, the parking rate is 60 cents per hour. You control the meter and never waste any time that you have purchased.

The meter is easy to use, only the bottom right button is pushed to turn on and activate the meter. The first press will give you the date, time and bank in your meter account, the second press will activate the meter timer, the screen will flash BU – 1 and time used.

Display the meter facing outwards in the drivers or front passenger car window (open window slightly, place rubber strip in the window and close). Upon returning to your car, remove the meter from the window and switch off by pressing bottom right button for 3 seconds.
