Email Abbreviations

Overview

Email is mostly for quick messages and should not replace more formal correspondence. To speed up the composing process, many abbreviations have been adopted. The following lists1 are Common Abbreviations which are acronyms for common phrases and Emoticons which are symbols representing emotions.
