Attendance: | Attendance is expected as part of each student's responsibility for his/her own education. Each student's academic achievement will determine the course grade and not just the statistics of presence or absence. Each student is responsible for any work missed regardless of the reason for any absence in class. |

Late Policy: | Each student is expected to complete the assignments in a timely fashion. An assignment more than one week late will NOT be accepted and a grade of zero will be recorded. You will lose the following percentages for late assignments: |

Exams: | There is an exam every week. If a student will miss a scheduled exam, the instructor must be notified prior to the exam by telephoning the instructor or the Computer Studies Office and have a valid reason for missing the exam. If no notification is received by the time of the exam, it cannot be made up. The instructor solely determines validity. |
