Often you find a page with a dark background and light
colored text. Internet Explorer will print it this way
without any changes, but you can turn off this option.
Firefox, however, provides more control over how the page
prints.
Firefox
By default, Firefox doesn't print the background, but
does print the text as defined. To force Firefox to print
the background:
- Click File
- Click Page
Setup
- Click the Print
Background (colors & images) check box
(make sure check appears in
box)
- Click OK
In Firefox‚ click Margins & Header/Footer tab to adjust
other settings. Click the drop–down menus to select
options. You can also create custom text‚ which can
be combined with Firefox’s Header/Footer codes. To

To turn off the background in Internet Explorer, you
must go to a different menu and uncheck the default
setting:
- Click Tools
- Click Internet

- Click the Advanced tab
- Scroll to Printing
- Click the Print

- Click OK
